FLOWING WAKEFULNESS FELLOWSHIP
Flowing Wakefulness Fellowship serves as a platform for accessing and realizing possibilities for a Consciousness-based culture, aimed at the recognition, development and actualization of the fullest potential present in human birth.
Flowing Wakefulness Fellowship is united by a shared vision in exploring alternative possibilities for consciousness-based culture. The timeless beauty of this work lies in its all-embracing nature. Established and led by Igor Kufayev, this path is universal and open to all irrespective of creed, race or gender. It transcends any tradition and cultural identity. The Teaching is the knowledge of the Self, alive and throbbing in the Heart of an awakened being, as wakefulness of his own awareness. The essence of the teaching is to embody the fullest potential present in human birth, as Unity in diversity in all its uniqueness.
Working with transformative methodologies as means for the emergence of enlivened consciousness gives access to the unlimited potential inherently present at the finest level of creation. This brings about total development of the mental, physical and emotional aspects of a human being to its fullest capacity, whilst simultaneously presenting qualitatively different solutions to the unprecedented challenges humanity is faced with at the present.
The vision of the Fellowship encompasses establishing regeneration centers, as the heart and the hub of spiritual community, and the vibrant expression of this unique work. Designed to house educational, rehabilitative, and transformational programs on an ongoing basis, these centers serve local communities as trendsetters for new ways of being, providing opportunities to participate in the diverse spiritual and cultural programs. They are further intended to serve as research facilities, inviting clinical study and cross-pollinating exchanges between the cutting-edge of neuroscience and ineffable insights gained in deep states of transcendence. The centers provide a platform to initiate a dialogue for re-evaluating the view – prevalent among the peers in the field of psychiatry – on the nature of psychophysiological transformation, often referred to as ‘existential crisis’, ‘spiritual emergency’, or Kundalini Syndrome.
These regeneration centers are envisioned to be the nucleus of a newly-forming culture implicitly based on self-organizing power, spontaneously arising as an outcome of direct communion with the Unified Field. The aspiration behind the work is toward greater psychology — fully acknowledging the limitations of problem-solving enterprises, conscious politics or sustainable economics when grounded in the outlived paradigm — to bring the new vision required to face the challenges of this age. The major shift in perception and the resulting expanded consciousness, is what breaks the shackles imposed by any system of beliefs, granting access to the unlimited potential present within our awareness.
Recognizing and living one’s fullest potential is the birthright and utmost responsibility as human beings, and it is imperative to the current phase of transition. The vision is to heal the rupture of separation — individually and collectively — through direct recognition of the utter interconnectedness of all life, and return to reverence for life itself.
As founder and spiritual director, Igor Kufayev has been serving as a conduit of transmission for awakening towards the new era of consciousness-based culture. Speaking from direct realization of Oneness, he inspires and initiates the awakening process in seekers of truth irrespective of their cultural background. The Flowing Wakefulness Fellowship serves as the vessel for birthing the alternative culture, where this work can organically unfold and expand. It serves as the platform for supporting, structuring and making the teaching available.
The centers are organically unfolding, breathing examples of alternative ways of being — experiments in Consciousness. These ecovillage-like abodes serve as nourishing grounds for innovative work, where educational, rehabilitative, and transformational programs are developed over time. Nonsectarian, neo-monastic satellites of newly-forming culture based upon a contemplative way of life — sanctuaries for creative self-expression — here, timeless wisdom is rekindled, nurtured, and passed from heart-to-heart.

The grounds, main facilities and accommodations are to be designed in alignment with local environment and in accord with Vedic-based architecture. The intention is to create individual and group opportunities to serve and interact with the greater surrounding region as well as to collaborate with those pioneering in conducting research in consciousness and higher human potential. Long-term permanent and semi-permanent residential programs will be offered to those wishing to dedicate themselves to this work.
The Flowing Wakefulness Fellowship is now taking the first steps toward materializing the vision by establishing formal organizations in the U.S. and in Europe, where communities have organically formed. Campaigns have been initiated to raise the necessary funds to purchase, build, and sustain the centers, envisioned as financially independent and self-sustained venues, where those who feel called can live their highest aspirations toward actualizing their potential.
Dattatreya serves as event coordinator for our gatherings and retreats and supports the establishment of the Fellowship in Europe. He is based in Belgium. He oversees the planning and promotion of all live events with Igor, as well as handling all inquiries from those interested in attending or sponsoring immersions or other programs in their area. If you are interested in hosting or helping to organize an event with Igor, or in supporting the Fellowship in any other way,
Dattatreya will be happy to work with you.

In December 2018, Jae came across Igor's channel by chance. After hearing the truth in his discourses, she felt inspired to begin a daily meditation practice, despite having had no prior experience. Six months later, Jae met Igor in person for the first time, marking the beginning of a long-awaited and much yearned-for return to a place that resembled her "true home." Jae is currently based in the UK and serves on the PR team for Flowing Wakefulness, contributing to the ongoing work of the organisation.

Flowing Wakefulness Facilitator
Sundari Ma attended a high school specialized in music and fine arts in her hometown of Bamberg, and studied contemporary dance, new dance, and improvisation in Munich and Freiburg, Germany. She learned Ayurveda and Kerala Ayurvedic treatments in South India. She founded and directed Soma Yoga – a studio for Yoga, Ayurveda, and Meditation in Freiburg – for many years, and has been teaching Vedic and Tantric wisdom for almost two decades. She studied closely with Dr. David Frawley, and Tantric teacher Sally Kempton, among others. Sundari Ma has been on the spiritual quest all of her life. Since childhood, her life has always felt like a streaming river, following the powerful inner calling of the ocean, the longing to fully know and realize her true essence.
In Igor Kufayev, she has recognized her ultimate spiritual guide, her Guru and serves the work of her Teacher and his community, Flowing Wakefulness. Igor has trained and assigned Sundari Ma for the role of facilitating his work, because of her direct recognition of the subtlety and depth of his Teaching of the Heart. Aside from acting as facilitator, Sundari Ma supports our creative team, Shanta Rasa, and offers her communicative, organizational, and artistic gifts, as well as inspired writing. She currently lives in the beautiful city of Freiburg.
Sundari can be contacted at email@example.com.
Spiritual community is a place of confluence, where your individuality willingly flows into the ocean of Being, where all these differences, all these peculiarities, all this uniqueness and specialness is readily offered.
Flowing Wakefulness Fellowship Origins
In November 2014, Igor consecrated the Flowing Wakefulness Fellowship to serve as the platform for supporting, structuring and making this teaching available, and the vessel where this work can organically unfold and expand. It has now been established and legally registered — on January 5, 2018 — as a U.S. California-based entity, under the name of Flowing Wakefulness Fellowship Inc. It is comprised of a team of dedicated students who have offered themselves into this work, and who very naturally have formed its core.
The name "Flowing Wakefulness" is a tribute to Igor’s teacher, HH Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, who, when speaking of the Vedas (ancient Indian sacred scriptures comprised of hymns and revealed texts in Sanskrit) said, “Just as Rig Veda is the quality of dynamic silence, Sama [Veda] is the flow of self-referral Consciousness. Wholeness on the Move..." And Igor further elucidates, "Flowing Wakefulness is that which is awake to Itself, in a state of perpetual flow. It’s a stream of Consciousness awake to Itself, as the Wakefulness of Its own Awareness..."
Igor’s presence has gradually attracted sincere seekers from around the world who have found resonance with this teacher and work, many of whom have been initiated into meditation and this unique path by him. The fruits of his presence and teaching are evidenced by the growing worldwide community of students, and the natural formation of ongoing sangha gatherings which have now been consecrated by Igor in two different locations to date:
Germany as represented by Sundari Ma with regular gatherings held in Freiburg
Belgium, represented by Dattatreya with regular gatherings held in Flanders
