Lovers (1996 - 2001)

In the winter of 1995 - 1996, Kufayev made several drawings based on his fascination with the art and practice of Eastern tradition, as well as it's Medieval counterpart in Western Europe with the emphasis on the underlying structure of Creation, expressed through The Sacred Geometry."Lovers" were never intended to be a series of work, but the artist kept coming back to the theme, producing twenty images, over a period of six years.
